Monthly Projects

My journey as an artist right now is about stepping away from my screen and diving into the act of making. I’ve always found joy in getting my hands messy, carving, cutting, and experimenting with new materials and have lost track of it over the years. Each project I make is a meditation, a love letter to the process of making.

I created a series of four paintings inspired by an idea that came to me after a day of skiing last winter. My aim was to capture the three-dimensional feeling of skiing in powder, particularly the sensation of sinking in and bouncing back up again. To achieve this, I played around with some perspective, adding inconsistent depth to parts of my paintings in hopes of creating an abstract winter wonderland world.

Custom Kincos is a labor of love project, sparked by a Kinco glove show I joined at a Snowboard Shop in Bellingham, WA. What began as crafting a design for the show swiftly evolved into a passion project as I delved deeper into the creative process. The more gloves I made, the more I realized the potential to share these unique designs with others. Please enjoy the 3 unique designs I made for you to choose from.

Introducing 'Zoomies'—a vibrant celebration of moments spent skiing with friends in the mountains. This print captures the essence of those 'zoomie' moments, where the thrill of the slopes sends yips, yeees, and yehooos echoing through the air. As we navigate through a milder winter, it feels essential to cherish and focus on the joyous reasons that drive us to venture out and play in the snow. Embrace the spirit of adventure with 'Zoomies' and let its dynamic energy inspire your space.
